Season two of Batman Caped Crusader just ended and the series has some great villains from DC mythos. There is some Firebug and Blockbuster. Some Batman villains are based off Dark Night rogue gallery that you made recognize. Note: this tv series has a alternate timeline or universe. Different races and genders were switched, don’t say its woke or complain because that’s how DC Universe works. Just check out MCU for details about parallel worlds. Anyways let’s get right to it on the best villains in Batman Caped Crusader.
Harley Quinn
Original introduced for Batman Animated Series, in this version, Harley Quinzel is more cold and calculated that past animated incarnations. She was introduced as initial antagonist in the first season but turn into ally in season two. Harley Quinn is in a relationship with Renee Montoya and fake her death in The Stress of her Regard episode. I would say she was more than vigilante not Joker’s main squeeze. Note: Harley never met Joker yet but probably season three who knows. Harley has a bubbly personality not psychic one but she can be a good villain.
Thorn
Thorn is a femme-fatale like villain will get what she want. She was just a timid girl named Rose Canton, who works at family flower shop went Edward Nigma unalive. Rose Canton wanted revenge and don a persona named Thorn, who manipulate Edward Nigma and later on betrays him. At first, I thought she was based on Poison Ivy but Golden Age comic version. If she turned into a villain but Torn was a redeenable foe to Batman.
Onomatopoela
Onomatopela makes his first animated appearance in DC universe. He is an unknown hitman who targets Barbara Gordon in Moving Targets episode. Onomatopela is known for making sound effect instead of talking. Also, his first appearance is in Green Arrow Vol 3 Issue 12 but Caped Crusader has to deal with him now. In my opinion, I really enjoy his character and want to see more in the near future.
Natalla Knight
Natalla Knight was originally suppose to be appear in Batman the Animated Series but due to Fox policy of blood because scaring younger audience in 90s. Now Noctuna is in Caped Crusader and draining life force from young children. Natalla is was particpant in her brother’s experiment Anton Knight, giving her vampire powers. Noctuna is a absolute threat to Batman but she has a weakness to sunlight like any other vampires. We might see more of her in the future seasons.
Joker
Joker is a well-known Batman villain but this one very calm like Harley Quinn. He was a major threat in season two and uses laughing gas on Gotham citizens. His latest victims is Hattie Tech and Rupert Throne. Even, went he encountered Batman, he calls him brother and act like a mentor to him. Joker is formidable foe to Dark Knight and he will return after jumping off the cliff. He doesn’t laugh at all because victim does it for him but more composed than other incarnations.
Mister Zero
Mister Zero also frozen Batman in episode Zero Hour. He freezes his victims as trophies for his collection. Zero is based on Mister Freeze but no connection to his wife Nora. Mister Zero is working for the Joker but gets unalive at the end of the episode. Zero speaks in robotic voice and nearly defeated Batman but got saved by Carrie (who is Robin in comics). There is not much about Mr. Zero but he is on the list.
Two-Face
Harvey Dent was an attorney and friend of Bruce Wayne. Afterwards, wanted to run for Mayor of Gotham with help of Rupert Throne. Dent turns into a vigilante to take down criminals. Two-Face was more than anti-hero than villain but he wants revenge on Rupert Thorne for putting acid in his face. He is very tragic and have mood swing went in Two-Face persona. I would say Harvey got issues but one of the best Batman Caped Crusader villain out there.

I hope there will be more Batman Caped Crusader villains in the near future seasons. Personally, having Bruce Timm back and making it feel more nostalgia after seeing Batman Animated Series in the 90s.
