What is Wednesday TV Series
Wednesday tv show is based on The Addams Family developed by Charles Adams. One of the characters Wednesday becomes the protagonist of the show. The plot is about Wednesday Adams who goes to Nevermore School to solve mystery after getting expelled for dumping piranhas into a school’s pool to torment for brother Pugsley. Her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams have an idea to send her to Nevermore which they previously went to. While in Nevermore, Wednesday meets up with Enid who is alpha wolf with a bright personality, also her roommate. Wednesday also meets Tyler Galpin who is a hyde, Bianca Barclay, a siren and many more characters throughout the series. She also have psychic powers and detective skills in the show. Sometimes, Wednesday is at odds with her mother Morticia throughout season two.
All I have to say is that Jenna Ortega does amazing job portraying Wednesdays just like Christina Ricci (who does make an appearance as main antagonist of season 1). Anyway, I am getting ahead of myself, and this is not a review for Wednesday. In this blogpost, I will talk about Enid and Wednesday relationship throughout season 1 and 2. In season 1, Enid Sinclair is the peppy girl who tries to understand Wednesday because she represents joy and happiness like Princess Poppy from Trolls. While Wednesday is doom and gloom girl who enjoys tormenting or anything dark. At first, they got off of a rocky start but slowly they care for one another. Enid did help stop Tyler and Marilyn in season 1 and started to turn into a werewolf. In season two, Enid started dating a fellow werewolf, Bruno Yuson.
Enid and Wednesday role in Season Two
Enid was advised to lock herself in a cage by Isadora Capri because during full moon, she will turn werewolf forever and never become human again. She does have to deal with that and Wednesday help her escape death due to premonition that she had in episode 1. In Enid and Bruno get kidnapped by Agnes DeMille due to Prank Day. Wednesday is willing to find out her psychic powers and has a spirit guide as well. In episode 13, Enid and Wednesday switch bodies and it was so funny. Enid (Wednesday’s body) was dancing around and students started filming her. While Wednesday (Enid’s body) breaks up with Bruno and impresses Capri. Agnes and Wednesday solves the mystery of Sheriff Galpin murder. While Enid felt that Wednesday is avoiding her because Agnes is a wedge between them.
Later on, Enid, Agnes and Wednesday along Uncle Fester infiltrate Willow Hill to find out LOIS (Long-Term Outcast Integration Study). Both Wednesday and Uncle Fester find out who is the stalker with one-eyed crow named Judi Spannegel (Stonehearst Daughter). While escaping Willow Hill, Tyler in his Hyde form finds Wednesday and throws her out of the window. Later at Willow Hill, Anges, Wednesday and Enid stop Issac from finding the cure for Tyler’s mother Francoise. Enid turns into a werewolf to stop Tyler but Wednesday clam her down. While getting their bodies back and Wednesday learn that an Addam will die. During final battle with Issac Night, Enid leaves Nevermore and Wednesday gets help from Uncle Fester again to find her. That’s how season 2 ends on that note.
Will They Become Friend Again?
In my opinion, Wednesday and Enid will become friend because they care for one other. Enid did help Wednesday win a camping game. Enid might push Wednesday away because of her werewolf tendencies. Some people ship them, but it will not work out because they both live in different worlds. Enid was worried about Wednesday due to the stalker case and what is going on with her. Enid and Wednesday will probably break or can be repaired in some way. I don’t know what will happen in season 3, Enid might play a bigger role because her werewolf transformation. We might learn more about her pack and make her become human again. I love that dance number with Enid and Agnes did. Enid might have felt distanced from Wednesday but deep down she cares for her.
Wednesday doesn’t want to see someone she cares for dies that’s why she prevented it, after seeing her tombstone. Both Wednesday and Enid are a team that can stop villains like Principal Doft and Thornhill. They can do anything together, but I am not a writer or producer of the show. Give it up for a great performance from Emma Myers for portraying Enid Sinclair. I am hoping to see more of Enid in future seasons, and it was renewed for season 3. You got to love their chemistry together whatever they’re on screen. Wednesday always mocks Enid on her antics. What will be a Wednesday without Enid? It wouldn’t be the same but I enjoy seeing her in the show. I almost forgot about her break up with Xavier Thorpe.
