Fantastic Four World’s Greatest Heroes Recap
Fantastic Four World’s Greatest World tv show was aired in September 2, 2006. This is a collaboration with Marvel Studios and French animation company MoonScoop. MoonScoop is known for Code Lyoko and many more. World’s Greatest Heroes comes after 1994 tv show with modified graphics and storyline, During the intro of the show, tells the origin of how Fantastic Four got their powers. The intro reveals Dr Doom real face but, in the show, its covered up in a mask. Throughout the series, Fantastic Four deals with family issues, supervillains and many more. Reed Richards is the leader and smartest man on the team. His code name is “Mr. Fantastic” and his elastic powers. Susan Storm is the voice of reason for the team and has code name is “Invisible Woman”.
Sue Storm has the ability to go undetected and produce force field. Fun fact: I use her a lot in Marvel Rivals. Johnny Storm is the comic relief and most annoying character in the show. He is Sue’s brother and code name “Human Torch”. His abilities is to emulate fire and afraid of water. Lastly, Ben Grimm aka “The Thing” and he is a rock creature, also the team’s brawns. There is filter episodes, where they switch bodies and team up with other Marvel heroes. There is team up with Iron Man, Ant Man and Hulk. Along with She Hulk, Namor and many more Marvel characters that appearance in the show. Fantastic Four faces off against adversaries such as Mole Man, Frightful Four, Super Skrull and Ronan the Accuser. There is side characters like Impossible Man, Alicia Masters and Courtney Bonner-Davis (who hates Fantastic Four).

Fantastic Four World’s Greatest Heroes has some amazing episodes like “The Cure”. Where Ben Grimm was human and loss his memory. The Thing always wanted to find the cure but change his mind because how special he is. During the “Contest of Champion” episode Ben Grimm wins the challenge and wanted to wish for a cure. Sue Storm is her strongest in “Imperious Rex” because she is trying to establish peace between surface world and Atlantis. Also, in the episode “Trials by Fire”, went Johnny Storm gets kidnapped by Ronan and get angry. Sue is a strong woman and see why Reed married her. Other than that, there is some cameos from different Marvel characters like Squirrel Girl and many more. The rest of the episodes is just fighting villains and learning value lessons.
World’s Greatest Heroes has some sense of humor like H.E.R.B.I.E not talking to Reed Richard anymore due to Johnny’s influence. Johnny trying to impress someone and making the team feel bad like worry about his car. Overall, I love the show, and I know people have problem with character design. I also love with Ben and Johnny get into it with each other. Fantastic Four World’s Greatest Heroes lased only one season and remember watching it on Toonami. Anyways, I can’t wait for Fantastic Four First Steps set to release in July 25, 2025. Let me tell you that I hope it’s not bad as Captain American: Brave New World. I will hope my judgement on that movie went it releases on Feburary 11, 2025 in Theaters.

I have watch Fantastic Four 2005 film and didn’t hold up. In closing, I would recommend watching this show, if you are fan of the superhero team. Animation is very pretty and vibrant colors along with backgrounds. FF is not just a team but a family which She Hulk stated in episode 18 “The Cure”. I love the team’s dynamic and relationship with each other. FF is one of my favorite superhero teams next to X-men and Guardians of the Galaxy. Sadly we don’t get a season two of the show because due to low rating or people didn’t like character design.In one episode, Peter Parker who appeared in season 1 episode 19 Frightful was not Spider Man but photographer working for the Daily Bulgie. He is the one who take pictures of Johnny Storm.
Fantastic Four World’s Greatest Heroes was better than live action move for sure. It got some great humor to each other. I love the dynamic between the team as well. Sadly, it was not a bad show. Just a daily life in Baxter Building and fighting Doombots. You can watch 26 episodes and can be skippable, it doesn’t have to be in order to join him. I have to say I didn’t like the Impossible Man amd the most annoying character in the show. Voice actors did amazing job with portrayal of the characters and find nothing wrong with it. Hiro Kanagawa (Reed Richard), Lara Glichchrist (Sue Storm), Christopher Jacot (Johnny Storm) and Brain Dobson (Ben Grimm).
