Gamechat that’s very similar to Microsoft Team and Discord, there is an option for expanded screen, video and sharing screen. The program is available for certain Switch 2 games and updated versions of past games as well like Mario Party Jamboree. Switch 2 has magnetic Joycons which you can press a button to unlock them. SR and SL button is much bigger than its predecessor along with 256gb storage for your games. Mirco SD cards don’t work with Nintendo Switch 2 and game card is much bigger.

Switch 2 controller have two back button and C one just like N64. It also has a wider screen the original Nintendo Switch. If I am missing anything, let me know in the comments and have a fan to cool off your console. The console cost $499.99 which is slightly higher than predecessor. Speaking of prices, back in the 90s, games were $79.99 and more. Its no brainer that there is a price hike for these video games nowadays. Nintendo never lower their prices for games made by them but third-party ones. I sold my Switch because of that and got a PS5 instead. Switch is not a bad system, but it wasn’t for me. I did enjoy Animal Crossing, Splatoon and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Other than that, I may not buy the new Nintendo Switch 2 day one or ever. Nintendo fans will have a feel day with GameCube, Mario Kart Tour and Donkey Kong Bananza.

Nintendo Consoles I Owned

While on the topic of Nintendo, there is some consoles I have pervious owned throughout the years. Note: I didn’t own a Nintendo GameCube but played it on stores. First off, I had a NES console with Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, Vice Project Doom and Little Nemo: The Dream Master. These games were fun but Little Nemo was hard in my opinion. Next was SNES, this was my favorite console of all time. I had great memories of Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong Country, Mega Man X and original Mortal Kombat. When I go to my grandma’s house, I drive her wild went listening to video game soundtrack. I did a worst SNES games article already if you want to check it out. Next on the agenda is original Game Boy, you know I got Pokemon Blue, Battle Arena Toshinden and Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow.

Afterwards, was Game Boy Advance with Sonic Advance 2, Dragon Ball Legacy of Goku and Shaman King Master of Spirits. I always have fond memories of the Game Boy days and I didn’t get a Nintendo DS. In the mid-2000s, I got a Nintendo Wii during my college days. I had Capcom vs Tatsunoko, Mad World and Victorious Boxers: Revolution those were the days. Wii was very interactive and one of the impressions for Nintendo Switch. I don’t get the WII U but waited until Nintendo Switch was released. That’s all Nintendo consoles that I owned as a kid. The question is will I own one ever again. Well, I have played emulators based on Nintendo consoles but its nothing like original console.

Closing

You can buy these Nintendo consoles on Amazon, GameStop and retro gaming stores. Nintendo Switch 2 might be pre-order but due to scalpers, its pretty limited. Visit their website for more information about Switch 2 and updates on membership as well. I am not a huge fan of Nintendo but grew up with Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda. I almost forgot about Nintendo 64 that I have owned like Mace the Dark Ages, WWF No Mercy and Turok. How do I forget about expansion pack and 4 player fun. I am not going to talk about Virtual Boy because wasn’t born in that came out. Nintendo will always be in my heart and I am happy they’re listening to the fans. I am very proud of them for giving one of the best Nintendo Direct I ever seen.
