My PlayStation Plus Experience
PlayStation Plus is one of the hugest online gaming retailers in the world. There is Nintendo Eshop, Xbox Live Store and Steam. I like to talk about my experience with PlayStation Plus has been super so far. Right now, I am Essential user because it’s the cheapest option than Extra and Premium. Essential plan costs $79.99, while Premium and Extra is around $99.99 to $200. That’s for a year but if you’re going for a month than that’s cheaper as well. Anyways, this article is a buyer guide for gamers who wants a cheaper path and save money in the process. Its fine if you want to play a $60 to $120 dollar video game. As along you can afford it than you’re straight. I am talking my personal experience of shopping for games online.

Of course, I use Amazon to buy physical copies of video games before COV-19 Pandemic. Now, I am moving to digital route because I can find better deals online than going to GameStop, Best Buy or Target. Sooner throughout the years, physical copies will cease to exist. Even, when PlayStation Network outage was happening last month. GameStop even chime in to make fun of a Twitter user for not buying physical disc. Even if not a lot of people willing to buy digital, but you don’t own it. There is a Tik Tok video about a guy talking about it. That if you have an online account and something happens to it. All your digital games will be gone and that’s valid reason to buy physical games. I am making sure that doesn’t happen because mostly games don’t have a physical release.
Discount or Day One
I need to start buying physical disc, but some have a code in order to play the game. For example, Nintendo Switch games have sd card and codes in order to download the game. What about PC games, they don’t have CDs anymore but have to download them. CD roms is so 90s and no one use them anymore. Back on topic, if you want to wait for discounts go for it because it might save you some money. Trust me, inflation and job market is tough right now because current administration. Day one folks, buy them if you can, just like that JG Wentworth commercial “its your money use went you need it”. You might buy some extra dlc skins, characters and more, which extra $80 for a $60 buck game. Myself, I want to buy complete game without purchasing any downloadable content whatsoever.

When discounts with a bundle, I would buy it. That’s my method for now on and I admitted that spending over $100 dollars of steam games because fall deal. I delete my Steam account because my PC was very weak and can’t run every game. So, I am sticking with console right now because I don’t have to worry about compatible and changing graphic cards. If you’re a PC gamer and want to buy or build one. Go right ahead, its going to be very expensive to get right components. I got a MXZ gaming PC for Christmas last year, but I have no intension of using it right now. Anyways, while having a full-time job and talking care of bills. It might get harder because everything has gone up. My dad always says, “always treat yourself” and that true because don’t bills and food prices ruining your life. You are put on this earth to enjoy yourself and create memories. Well, I be talking about free or buying games.
Free vs Buying Games
As PlayStation Essential user, I am happy about monthly games because I get to experience them. You can buy them and its optional, but I love me some free games. It comes with the package and benefits on signing up for PlayStation Plus. Last February, I tried three games Pac-Man World Re-Pac, Pay Day 3 and High on Life. Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a remake from 1999 PlayStation 1 game. The game is about Pac-Man saving his family from villainous Ton-Man. I love every aspect from gameplay, easy to play and references from past Pac-Man games. Best part of the game is maze, which reminds me of old school Pac-Man we all know in love. Pac Man World Re-Pac is available now on PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Xbox Series X/One. PayDay 3 is a heist game which you play as robbers to steal from banks and more.

Players still play PayDay and its not dead. The game reminds me of Ocean’s Eleven in a way. PayDay 3 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Steam. Lastly, High on Life is an open-world first person shooter game developed by Squanch Games. You might know voice actor from Rick and Morty is involved in this game. Player’s take control of unnamed bounty hunter with a talking gun named Kenny. Kenny and bounty hunter take on a G3 Cartel led by Garmantuous, a alien that wants to take over universe. High on Life is available now on Xbox Series X/One, PlayStation 4/5 and Steam. I don’t know, if I ever will buy them but gotta love free things.
Closing
That’s my personal experience in buying video games. What are your thoughts on this subject? Let me know in the comments below, I don’t know what video games price will ever change to be more expensive. Still, I am keeping Essential plan just in case that happens and still buy them as discounts with low prices. Feel free to buy them day one or save up, its your choice. Thank for reading this blogpost and see you on the next one.
