What is Squid Game
Squid Game is a Dystopian Korean survial triller TV drama developed by Hwang Dong Kyuk. The plot is about a divocred father named Seong Gi-Hun. Seong Gi-Hun has a gambling problem and have a stray relationship with his daugther. One day, a recruiter of a deadly game offers Gi-Hun chance to win millions of dollars. Gi-Hun agees and get’s taken away in a disclose location where others get the chance to win prize money. There are many other characters like Cho-sang Woo and Saw-byeok. Competitors are in green and white jump tacksuits. Solider in pink jacket, explain the game and vote to end it or not.
A shaman named Seon-nyeo and Choi Su-bong , a rapper and a victim of Myun-Gi scam.There are other like Transgender woman Cho Hyun-Ju along with mother and son. Hwang In-Ho, the main antagonist the show. . The series has childhood Korean games such as Red Light Green Light, Ddakiji, and more. If player loses, they will be elimnated from the game. Solider will shoot them and put the bodies in coffins. The more players who is elinmated, a giant piggy bank will fill up with money. Between each game, players have to vote to continue the game or leave with certain amount of money. After game is done for the day, pink soliders have to go back to their quarters.
End the Games
Players are allow to eat and don’t have outside contact with anyone. Squid Games is a battle royale game. Seong Gi-Hun was the winner of the first game in season one. In season two, Gi-hun returns to put a end to them one and for all. Again, there are new competitors who have a agenda like paying off debts and getting surgery. Some disguise to be players like Oh il-nam (creator of the game) and Hwang In-Ho (Front Man). In the show, we learn more about the characters motives and backstory. There are allies and betrayal of the competitors in the show. Gi-hun has allies and help competitors win the games in season two. He teams up with friend along with Jin-ho to end the games.
The closer they get, better to fail at successing in ending it all. Squid Game is the most thrilling show I ever seen. I fell in love with the show overall. Especially, season two went Hwang In-ho wanted to continue the game and killed someone during epsiode 6. Competitors rebeling against pink soliders using guns. Now In-ho has betray Gi-hun and his friend, what will they do. My favorite character was Thanos but got stab in epsiode 6 which was best episode in the show. Also enjoy Park Gyeong-seok and Jang Gerum-ga because they were best part of season two.
Closing
Squid Game has become a culture hit with Call of Duty tie-in, merchadise, cosplay and more. I can’t wait for season three to be released. I would recommneded watching this show on Netflix.
