Trillion Game Plot
Trillion Game is based on manga created by Riichiro Inagaki and Ryoichi Iekgami. The plot about two protagonists Haru Tennoji and Manabu Taira aka Gaku, who started their own company to become Japan’s World Greatest Billionaires. One of the main characters Haru, who is a self-proclaimed conman that possess strength, negotiation and establish relationships with other investors. His motives are he wants to become rich and love a luxury lifestyle. Gaku, who loves computers and drag along with Haru’s goal of acquiring trillion of dollars in Japanese currency. Together Gaku and Haru become entrepreneurs and created a company called Trillion Game. Throughout the story, Haru and Gaku sometimes be at odds with one another over business deals and antics. Gaku is the main point of view of the anime, which he struggles to find a job and talk to people.
He gets a job interview from a multi-million-dollar company called “Dragon Bank Group” and its run by Kirika Kokuryu, who is president daughter of Kazuma Kokuryu (founder of Dragon Bank Group). Gaku gets rejected but Kirika sees potential because of him hacking and computer skills which benefits her. Haru nails the interview but his people skills and quit afterwards, despite getting hired for the job. Both Gaku and and Haru vows to start a business together. Both main characters rented an apartment complex to start from below. First, they experience with AI and flourish industry. Haru meets up with founder of Muzuono Flower and strike a deal with her. Haru and Gaku hired Rinrin Takahashi due to her having a no luck in job hunting. Rinrin does have a part-time job at flower shop, which Haru and Gaku uses for their business.
Trillion Game Tackes Mobile Games
Rinrinm Haru and Gaku created a fake AI system to profit off their business and also saving Muzuono Flowers from bankruptcy. Due to the success of Trillion Game AI program, Dragon Bank Club got wind of it and use it themselves. Kazuma wants to get rid of startups like Trillion Game and move to multimedia. After Gaku and Haku meet with investors also getting rejected their offer for large amounts of money. Haru decided to move toward mobile and social games. He meets with Shinjo Sakura, a small indie developer of Sakusaku Lab. Haru makes a deal with Sasusaku Lab and wants to create a game that rivals Dragon Bank’s “Dragon Musume”. Later on, Haru came in contact with Toru Hebijima who is the creator of Dragon Musume. Rinrin (who is the president of Trillion Game) who offer Hebijima a deal to work for them but failed.
Here comes Haru saving the day and Hebijima is apart of the Trillion Game. Gaku is facing homelessness and Trillion Game created a new mobile app called “Purin Purin Land” in English dub is Pop Pop Land. Trillion game use influencer, content creator and celebrities to promote their game. Due to the success of their game Purin Purin Land, Dragon Bank counters using some method as Trillion Game. It was an uphill battle and Trillion game Purin Purin Land was on top most downloadable game of all time. Next up is news and streaming, which Haru hires a new reporter to get latest scoop in all Japan. While attending a party with investors and business owners, Haru meets drama content creator along with actresses. Trillion Game latest scoop is overcharging phones with generators. Also, exposing actors who involved in a scandal with the help of social media influencers.
Closing
Trillion Game is one of the educational anime that talk about starting a business because today’s job market is terrible and hard to get employed anywhere. Haru is kind of like Steve Jobs or Elon Musk and Gaku probably Bill Gates. It good to see Trillion Game hit rock bottom and make their way back up. This show deals with greed, corruption and nepotism in Kirika case. Her father Kazuma wants Haru to marry Kirika and take over family business. Haru declined to saying he is already married but actually a bluff. He is one of my favorite characters in the show because his swindle skills for his personal gain. I love how there is a company trip to Las Vagas and dynamic between two major characters. Gaku met his love interest and kind of rejected her at High School Reunion. Trillion is animated by Madhouse.
I love the opening 2 “Over the Top” by Hiroji Miyamoto and I got in on my phone. Trillion Game mentions Nintendo, Netflix and mobile games. This couldn’t come at a better time because a lot of people are getting layoff because current administration. If you want to learn how to be entrepreneurial person, watch this show. It also talks about Vtubers as well, I am hoping for a season two and there is a live action television drama. I love the English voice actors as well for doing amazing job.
