Stupid Never Dies – GPTRACK50 Inc

Stupid Never Dies is a action role playing roguelike game develoepd by GPTRACK50. The plot is about a zombie boy named Davy, who on a mission to stay the world from KOM and saving frozen girl (Juila) that he loves. Davy meets up with different characters such as Frank Stein, a scientist who helps main protagonist on his mission. Acelino, a were-chihuahua that assist Frank Stein, also in charge of upgrading parts for Davy. Bessie who runs a burger place and drives Davy back from Layer to Mall. Lastly, Goyle acts as communication and give the group intel.

Davy acquired abilities to change styles after eating Phoenix Egg. For example, while in layers of dungeon, Davy faces different enemies like Werewolves, Harpy and more, after biting them. He can assume their form along with their abilities as well. Speaking of “Layers”, players have limit time being there but if bear timer runs out, its game over (also if your health is zero). While in Layers, after defeating enemies, you can get abilities for certain styles. Whether your choice to swap or choose them based on different perks.

There are pit stops for upgrading and equipment along with practice your skills (note timer will pause). While journeying through layers, players can choose a path to take, which comes with rewards. Davy faces bosses to consume their core for Bessie to make burgers to enhancements. Each dungron run progresses the game’s main story to uncover the truth. Signalis – Rose-Engine

Signalis is a action survival horror game developed by Rose-Engine and published by Humnle Games along with Playism. The game takes place in Germany in dystopian future in a totalitarian regime Eusan. Players take control of Repika named Elster, who is on a mission to find Gestalt captain. Elster meets other characters along the way and fight off against creatures called “Corrupted”. In Signalis, the game is very similar to Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Elster can old limited inventory and can store items in red storage box in safe safe. In gameplay, players can solve puzzles and learn the truth of what happen in war between Eusan Empire.

Also, about biosynthetic clones called “Repika” and what happen to your human captain. Elster can combine items to solve puzzles along with tune radio signals as well. Signalis has some violent scenes for not suitable for younger audience, so be advised if you don’t want to play this. Other than that, Signalis uses 2D graphics like which similar to PS1 era and in depth cutscenes that brings players closer to main character. You do fight bosses and defeat yourself with stun rods along with weapons like pistols. There will be other weapons like shotguns and more to pick up while game progresses.

Signails is a dark and mellow horror that features jumpscare as well. The game is available now on PlayStation, PC (Stream), PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. I would recommended this game for fans who wants a horror game that who are veterans of survival horror games. Also, the game has multiple endings and no voice acting for the characters. Note: the game was free on PlayStation last September 2026 and had to try it out.

Review

Signalis’s puzzles can be difficult at times and had me running around for hours to solve. I found myself avoiding corrupted and getting hit my them at time. Especially aiming your weapon is reminds me of Alone in the Dark and has tank controls as well. The game’s graphic stands out giving it Neon Genesis Evangelion vibe. Elster can go back in time and uncover memories throughout her journey. Game’s soundtrack makes you feel like there is no point of returning, especially confronting corrupted and had me running for my life. Playing this game has been a breeze and having to save as I good.

I found myself enjoying the game because I played Playstation era survival horror games and its right up my alley. Stupid Never Dies reminds me of Suda51 games like No More Heroes and Lolipop Chainsaw. A zombie trying to save the world and falls in love with girl that he loves. The game’s humor is something I haven’t seen in years since I played The Wonderful 101 remastered. In the start, Davy walks slow but uses Cleaner to move around the mall. I am used to rogue-like games to choose different perks like increase drop rate and defense as well. Stupid Never Dies doesn’t take it seriously and players will “Go Nuts” on enemies along with this game.

There is another games just like this called “Let It Die” with same style of humor as well. I had some much fun playing Stupid Never Dies demo and willing to buy the full version of the game. Giving the game’s colorful graphics and weird characters like Phoenix. I am glad that I played this during month of Halloween. This game is lighthearted at best and not dark at all. My main issues is camera and no locking on to enemies. Therefore, this is a solid zombie game for horror lovers out there.

Closing

I really enjoy both games and did live stream on Twitch this month for my “Scared as Ish ” event. Hopefully, more horror games will be good as these ones. Silent Hill Townfall is available now to PC and PlayStation. Resident Evil Requiem as well for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Make sure to buy those two games as well.
