Twisted Metal Season 2 Characters That Stole the Show

Twisted Metal season 2 is based on Sony PlayStation video game with the same name. The original game is released on PS1 dated back November 5, 1995. A basely a vehicle combat demolition and main plot is about tournament run by a mysterious man named “Calypso”. Calypso gives an ultimatum to drive and grants a wish from any other the driver’s desire. In the Peacock tv show, it’s about one of the drivers from original game named John Doe (parody by Anthony Mackie). John Doe lost his memories and make a living working as a milkman from Raven. Throughout his journey, John meets Quiet and has a relationship in season two. Throughout the show, John finds out his past and family which later on Dollface was his sister. Basically, its another ammesia story and what is my past story.

In season two, the producers are now faithful to the source material went drivers are in the tournament. There is some easter eggs that fans of the game will recognize. How can you forget about the characters that made the season spectacular. Certainly, I will give my overall opinion of Twisted Metal (2023) season two toward the end of the post. Speaking of post, I will rank characters who stole the show and scenes in season two. I was thinking about doing a review, but characters outdid it for me. During season two, I found some characters that are really enjoyable. Afterwards, I love to give my thoughts on the show. Also, think about playing the video game Twisted Metal Black. Before that, lets get right to the characters. Without further ado, I will be staring off with out favorite killer clown.

Sweet Tooth (Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett)

Sweet Tooth is known as the mascot of Twisted Metal. Every scene he is in puts a smile on my face. He has a backstory that he was a former child actor named “Marcus Kane”. Stu tags along with Sweet Tooth because what happen to Mike. His sense of humor trotters the show, making what will Sweet Tooth do next. During season two, Sweet Tooth can’t have child and wants to kill Grimm in tournament story arc. Even Stu is trying to get away from him because of his violent nature. Both Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett did amazing job with everyone’s favorite clown. At the end of season two, Sweet Tooth get dragged by mysterious group. He might appear in season 3 and what will Sweet Tooth do next. Evenutally, Sweet Tooth has grown on me as a character.

Vermin (Lisa Gilroy)

Vermin is a minor character in season two. She is a creepy and deranged individual whose motifs are bugs. In season two, she is roommates with Axel which freaks him out. Also, teams up with Raven and Quiet to take on Apocalypse Nine, orchestrated by Calypso. During prom scene, Vermin and Grimm had a romantic relationship, only to be foiled by Sweet Tooth. The last we see of Vermin is during lighting round of the tournament, went she targets John Doe. Vermin meets her demise and never to be heard again. I absolutely love Vermin and Lisa Gilroy portrayal and one of the scene stealers in Twisted Metal. Indeed, Vermin is a funny character, henceforth, every scene she is makes me laugh. Furthermore, Vermin is a scene stealer and generally one of the best characters in the show. Despite her apperance, Vermin is gone now and will not be forgotten.

Axel (Michael James Shady)

Axel is a tragic character that meets Dollface and John at a movie drive thru. His backstory is making cakes and assassin to make ends meet. John and Dollface saves Axel from his creator. During the tournament, we learn that baby he took care of was Mayhem. During lighting round, he saves Quiet and John from Raven. Raven was shot during lighting round by Axel. We don’t know if he survives or not, Axel did destroy Apocalypse Nine without gas. He thinks that gas makes him more powerful and can’t do anything without it. Thanks to Mike, Stu and Dave intervention, Axel is depending on his own strength. Axel is a great character and loves his interactions with others. Overall, Axel might become back in season 3 because he care for Mayhem. Regardless, if his antagonistic nature, Axel is not bad person.

Mayhem (Saylor Bell Curda) – Twisted Metal Season 2

Mayhem is introduced in episode 2, who tries to steal from Dollface. In season two, Quiet bonds with Mayhem to teach her how to protect herself and drive. Mayhem can be resourceful and sometimes act reckless, she is rather dyslexic went trying to read letters from Calypso. Her wish is to be somewhere she can belong and kills Chuckie Floop in qualifying round. Mayhem finds out Minion and her friends think she is a burden. During final round of the tournament, she does still care for John and Quiet. Mayhem agrees with John to take out Calypso in season 3. Saylor performs shines throughout season two and wants to more of her. Otherwise, Mayhem would be a waste of character or just a backseater. Paricularly, Mayhem is a strong female character in the show. Occasionally, she crack jokes and become resourceful went helping ohter characters.

Stu (Mike Mitchell)

What can I say about Stu, one of the best and most lovable characters in Twisted Metal. Stu starts off as an officer and best friends with Mike. He is very gullible and went teaming up with Sweet Tooth. Stu knows John Doe from season 1 and season 2 as well. Stu was shock to see Mike alive after season 1. Now Mike is friends with Dave (later on attack’s Stu), otherwise how would he make it up Mike. Stu was accuse for Dave’s death. In the final round of the tournament, Mike dies and Stu wins. Calypso grants his wish to be far away with Mike and Stu wakes up in space. Later on, Stu assists Mayhem, Quiet and John to escape from Minion rather than stay in space . We will see what Stu can do in season 3? Obviously, Stu is the most popular character in the show.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Thoughts

Once, what will Stu play a huge role in season 3. Since, we don’t know what will be in store for the season 3. Obviously, they will try to defeat Calypso. Rather, they will try to establish peace between outsider and insiders. Twisted Metal season 2 has been a blast to watch and way better than last one. Surely, There is plenty of humor and gore in this season. Though,I am excited for the next season of the show because of the humor nonetheless.
