Thoughts and Review

In Mexican Ninja, I have encountered some bugs like one of the enemies refusing to death. But overall, I found myself enjoy Mexican Ninja and had some anime references like One Piece’s Sanji. Also, reminds me of Souls-like games as well, its very easy for beginners of rogue -like hack-n -slash genre. The game has interaction presentation featuring comic book like style like Gearbox Borderlands. I can see this game getting some improvements.

Slampunks reminds me of another rogue-like shooter, I recently played called “Grind Survivors”, and had a lot of bugs. There is same button for dash and switching shooter style which was a pain. Frame drops went multiple enemies on screen and slower supply drop capture. Overall, I found it fun and can’t wait for full version of the game. Along with playing with online with someone to complete objectives.

Akatori graphics reminds me of Wakfu and I found no major issues with this game. Other than, screen has zoomed-out and can’t see enemies, which I had trouble on. Everything else like bosses is very fleshed out and beautiful indie title to purchase. I recommend playing this game went it releases on PC.

Closing

Personally, I have to thank Endix Expo and Keymailer for allowing me to try these games. I am hoping to try more in the near future. There is some many indie games to try out but I have to watch out for my computer specs. All three game are very compatible with your PlayStation and Xbox controller but control schemes can be different. Akatori and Mexican Ninja are single player games but Slampunks is multiplayer. Three indie are demos but not full versions of the game. Of course they will have bugs and glitches in them.
