Mark Grayson Role in Season 3
In Invincible season 3, Mark Grayson was going through a lot since the last, went he defeat Angstrom and got stuck into an alternate dimension. Mark also found out there is other versions of himself in another timeline. Along with stepping out of the shadows of his father Onmi-Man, along with having a brother name Oliver Grayson. Mark also enters a relationship with Atom Eve and broken up with Amber last season.
In season 6, Mark aka Invincible does odd jobs for Cecil Stedman from the Government of the Pentagon. Although, Invincible question Cecil methods and refuse to work with him. The two doesn’t seem eye to eye went it comes to super heroism. Due to his family life, Mark acts like a big brother to Oliver. Even Oliver, learn his powers earlier than Mark in at young age.
During their visit to Art, Invincible change his costume to blue due to the backlash, he is getting due to his past mistakes. Oliver name himself Kid-Onmi after his father, which Mark Grayson disapproves of. Mark spends time with his family that’s include his mother, Debbie. Debbie starts dating someone else named Paul. Invincible fight off villains like Dr Seismic along with Mauler Twins without killing anyone.
Invincible’s Actions
Oliver in the other hand, manage to kill these villains, which Mark questions. Deep down inside that Mark did kill Angstrom and many others. Even been called a hypocrite, due to his recent actions in past episodes of the show. Invincible puts his life on the line everyday to protect people that care about him.
Even Debbie apologizes for marrying Nolan Grayson (Onmi-Man) and leading him the life he lives now. Invincible still have to carry that burden of being a superhero. Mark did travel to the future, went Fightmaster and Dropkick steals Declaration of Impendence in order to lure to help them. He has to fight future Immortal, who the king in Fightmaster timeline.
During the fight between Immortal and Invincible, there was back and forth along with pointing fingers at Mark for his actions. Mark Grayson realized that its his fault things are happening around him. During episode 7 of season 3, went Angstrom teams of with Invincible variants to take out Mark, Guardians of the Globe and other heroes.
How was Season 3?
While Atom Eve and Mark started their own business. There is one villain named Scott Duval aka Powerplex, who sister passed away during fight with Onmi-Man vs Invincible. Scott calling him a monster and thirst for revenge including attack on at memorial. In the end, Mark Grayson has himself to blame for what happen that day. While going on missions, Oliver always wants to tag along to help Invincible but reluctantly stops him.
It was a miss opportunity to see Oliver and Mark team up against Conquest. Invincible defeated Conquest during episode 8 and his head kept by Cecil. I want to say Invincible vs Conquest was the best fight I ever seen. Conquest is voice by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Who was Negan in The Walking Dead).
Invincible season 3 was a head banger and have you leaving question about Mark’s character. Do you think Mark Grayson will quit being Invincible in the next season? Also, felt season 3 was kind of rushed but I love perspective of other characters. I haven’t seen season 2 in years, but second half just got real. When Angstrom takes Debbie and Oliver hostage. Afterwards, Angstrom breaks her arm and Mark battle him in different dimension. Nolan misses Debbie and regrets his action after season 1.
Invincible is one of the best superhero or comic book shows I have watched. What to expect in season 3? More action, drama and suspense of Mark Grayson. Mark does change his suit to yellow to blue, I don’t know what for, but I am guessing donning a new identity. Some say Mark is still weak and was wrong but what do you do in his situation. Mark Grayson gotta do what he has to protect his family and friends.
He is not Omni Man but Invincible, yes he done somethings that out of line. He is not like Spider Man but we always pull through to the end What are your thoughts on Invincible season 6?
